Next to the boating lake and the beach in Ryde, they are open all year and have activities for all ages and abilities, from casual swimming to water workout classes and swimming lessons.  One of the only pools in the UK with a retractable roof – bringing sunshine right into your swimming session (weather permitting!)

  • Baby changing facilities in both the male and female changing rooms (including baby and toddler seats, space for a baby changing table in accessible changing room)

  • Dedicated, fully-accessible changing room next to reception, close to pool (hoists and chairs, complete wheelchair access to the site)

Having 2 branches at either side of the Island is ideal for point to point riding and we are quite happy to offer a 1 way (Branch to Branch) hire, this also gives us great distribution opportunity and so can deliver Islandwide.

Sandown Bicycle & Beach Hire

We are situated on the Red Squirrel cycle trail in Sandown on the Isle of Wight. We are one of the most accessible places for bike hire on the Island as we are situated 5 minutes from the Island Line train which connects to Portsmouth and then onto London Waterloo.

Bike hire: ladies and gents bikes, kids bikes, tagalongs and Dutch Cargo Bikes. We stock Raleigh bikes which are hybrids and perfect for exploring the roads and cycle paths for either long or short journeys. 

Beach hire: frisbee, boules, beach volleyball, badminton, swing ball, fishing rod and tackle hire, diablo, cricket set, rugby/football, croquet, phone charging and valuable storage.

Skateboard hire & sell: longboards and small cruisers which come with a free helmet.  Skate hire includes: long boards, short/penny style boards, scooters.

Surf hire: foam surf board adult/child, body boards, skim boards, SUP board and wetsuits

Cycle hire

Our bikes are never more than two seasons old and are regularly serviced. We equip them with a lock puncture repair kit and a pump. We are conveniently located just 8 minutes walk from the Esplanade at Ryde, where both the hovercraft and the ferry terminate.

If you are traveling with a car then there are public car parks near to the High Street. Hire bikes from 20” wheel are available to suit 6 years old upwards. We also hire trailer bikes, child seats and child trailers upon request. Helmets are available free of charge.
