  • Robin Hill Festival of Light Robin Hill’s popular electric woods event, Festival of Light inspired by Diwali, will be celebrating the 70th Anniversary of India’s independence with stunning, creatively themed light, colour, sound and entertainment that captures the many aspects of Indian culture: wild India, modern India, decorative India, historical India, urban India, celebration and spiritual India.

  • Victorian Falconry at Osborne Gaze skywards in awe as hawks, owls and falcons soar above Queen Victoria's seaside estate. Discover the art of training, exercising and hunting with birds and learn about birds of prey in Victorian times. And whilst you are at Osborne, you can also view the Victoria and Abdul Film costumes and follow the Victoria’s Island Trail around the Isle of Wight

Once you’ve found it, make use of our handy wheelbarrows to take your pumpkin back to our special Carving Station - loaded with lots of inspiring designs and templates, and tools to help you create your very own masterpiece!

  • Children’s workshops at the Garlic Farm Children’s workshops throughout half term from 11am each day: garlic bread making workshop, decorate a garlic bulb, plant your own garlic, carve a pumpkin, tractor trailer tours

  • Boo at the Zoo Come and join us ... if you dare ...for our half term Halloween Boo at the Zoo event. Throughout the week there will be lots of creepy goings on including... daily animal encounters, spooktacular prizes for fancy dress, walking safaris.

  • Half term Fossil Walks at Dinosaur Isle A variety of led-walks for the Isle of Wight half-term holidays. Four locations will be provided; Yaverland, Shanklin and around Hanover Point in Brook and Compton Bays, for our normal fossil walks.

  • Monster workshop and Mysteries of the Deep workshop Monster workshops at Lord Louis Library: Tuesday 24 October at 10am and Thursday 26 October at 2pm. Draw your own spooky monster with local author Zoe Sadler Mysteries workshop at Waterstones, Newport: Wednesday 25 October 2-3pm. Join Zoe Sadler for a Mysteries of the Deep workshop this half term and create your very own treasure map, other activities will also be available.
