Activities for teenagers on the Isle of Wight
Information on this page is now out of date - please see VisitIOW website for up-to-date information on the Isle of Wight
Keeping teenagers happy on holiday can be difficult, but the Isle of Wight has dozens of ideas for activities and entertainment to keep them busy.
We’ve got the teenage holiday essentials at Firefly House, which of course are WIFI and space. With superfast broadband, social media will ensure that they don’t miss their friends at home, and with 4 double/twin bedrooms, 3 reception rooms and a garden, there’s plenty of space for your teenager/s to chill.
Whilst some teenagers are happy hanging out with their parents, others may want adrenaline and action and we’ve got plenty of that on the Isle of Wight. There is every type of adrenalin sport available including surfing, tree climbing, paddle boarding, windsurfing, sand yachting, Segway, zorbing, bushcraft, mountain boarding, mountain biking, kayaking, horseriding . . . . Some centres offer all holiday activity days, perfect for the teens to socialise, and for the 'grown ups' to get a bit of 'grown up time' for the day.

And for those who are seeking a more chilled pursuit, there are high streets of shops, stylish beach cafes to hang out in, cinemas . . .
Below is an ever growing list of what to do, where to go and how to entertain your teenager on the Isle of Wight. If you think we should add something, please do get in touch.
We don't claim to have been to all of these attractions, so please do check out online blogs for other perspectives.
Don't forget to check out what events are happening in 2017, the list includes carnival dates, regattas, festivals and other special events taking place around the Isle of Wight.
